After one call to Lawn Doctor of Hamilton County in August, we finally - since mid-September - have the green grass we've be craving for the six years we've lived in our Fishers home. The previous lawn service did a fine job with weed control, but never had an answer for the brown grass patches in front or the seemingly impossibility of growing thick grass in the back yard. Kudos to Dave and the gang. They were here in two days, diagnosed the lawn, suggested a program (including power-seeding), we followed their watering regimen, and the yard (along with some fill-in areas) looks great all the way around. It's ironic that in this Covid year and after an entire summer with practically no suntan, we have Augusta National green grass in October. Good work, Lawn Doctor, and thanks. ~ Bob W

Lawn Doctor has exceeded our expectations! This past week, we had our early spring lawn care treatment from Lawn Doctor as planned. After the bad storms in Carmel on Wednesday night, our bbq grill had “taken flight” and landed mid-backyard. Before treating our yard, our service technician went above and beyond to carefully lift our grill and place it back on our patio-following up with a note that he had hoped it was not damaged in the storm. He definitely went the extra mile to show that he cared about his customer. Our lawn continues to look lush and green, thanks to Lawn Doctor. The owner is always easy to reach for questions and we appreciate the ease of auto-deduct as our payment option. Our family highly recommends Lawn Doctor for your lawn care needs. ~ Kara B

Moved to area and my grass/weeds needed help. After searching on-line I reached out to a few lawn care service providers and was immediately called by Lawn Dr. After keeping Jen on the phone for quite a while with all my questions she scheduled me for a fertilization and weed spray session to start. 2 days later the technician came out and did an amazing and very thorough job on my whole yard. Dave the owner took the time out of his busy summer schedule to call me directly right after the session to tell me everything they did and make sure I was happy, awesome customer service. The owner Dave and his team goes above and beyond! We used Lawn Doctor for weed control in the spring. Our yard improved so much! In the Fall they power seeded and aerated. Our yard looked the best it has since we moved in. Dave has gone above and beyond to make our yard perfect! Customer Service, pricing and the outcome of the treatments are outstanding! At the end of the season, after all the time and money was put into making our lawn beautiful, our mowing company damaged our lawn significantly. When we reached out to Dave to see what plan we could put together to repair it next season he spent way more time than needed talking to us to put together a plan for the spring, when his team had nothing to do with the damage to our yard. ~ Jordan M

We switched to Lawn Doctor this year after using a couple of different services over the last 10 years. We switched because after 10 years of service with other well known services in the area, our lawn looked terrible, had numerous trouble areas, and had regressed from even a few years ago. In working with the Lawn Doctor team, we put a plan in place on healing the lawn, and as of the end of this first year, there's already been a dramatic improvement! Additionally, they've been the only service that has taken the time to answer my lawn and weed questions in detail and have made great recommendations on a path to a great lawn. I've maintained my own lawn maintenance for several years and have had mixed results. This year my lawn was distressed, yellowing and had several areas / patches of dead grass. I called the Lawn Dr. and they provided an assessment of my lawn and prepared a plan to begin reviving the lawn. They took the time to explain what my lawned needed and were quick to implement. To be honest, I thought the season for my lawn was lost, but to my surprise, the lawn has never looked this good in just a couple of months. Green and lush, bare spot are no longer, and the lawn looks healthy. Received several compliments from my neighbors! Would highly recommend the Lawn Dr. to anyone that needs to turn around their lawn. Dave Koone (Owner) is professional, honest and his crews are always friendly, punctual and leave things cleaned up and looking better than when they showed up on my property. Their services are priced appropriately and have ALWAYS made a SIGNIFICANT improvement in our properties (we are on our second personal property with them). As with most services, the skill to perform the job is not the difficult part of the job. The expertise and knowledge of the owner and service techs, in knowing the needs of my property and budget, has generated fast, significant results and we couldn't be happier with the results. I wanted a different type of grass that would grow better, require less water, and stay greener during Indiana's hot summers. To get this result I killed my entire front lawn and prepared it for reseeding. I used Lawn Doctor of Hamilton County to come in and and power seed my front yard with Turf Type Tall Fescue grass. They did a fantastic job, I went from almost bare soil to a beautiful new lawn. Dave was very helpful throughout the process and his team that performed the work were professional and experienced. I just started with Lawn Doctor lawn care. I am thoroughly impressed! Their prices are very competitive with other companies I checked out and their service top notch. The technician did not know I was home and observing him. Of all the lawn care services I’ve used in the past, I’ve never seen anyone work so diligently. He first walked my yard and spot sprayed for weeds. Then when it came time to complete the fertilization, he covered about every square inch of my yard. We've used Lawn Doctor for 4 years. To say they have been fantastic is an understatement. First is the results, our yard is a healthy as it's ever been in 22 years in our home. They show up when they say they will, They don't over apply product and they are up to date on the latest technology...we had a very difficult flowering weed in our yard that others could not tame and they stopped its growth in one summer. I began talking to Dave about the mud bog in my backyard a couple of months ago . My 2 hounds aren't helping and I expect to see a creature rising out of it any day. Not to mention I HATE sweeping & moping daily. He came up with a plan & today Cade & David began step 1! They were very nice & even retrieved my trash barrel for me. When I called Lawn Doctor of Hamilton County about a lawn weed identification question, Dave was able to identify the weed type by asking several questions. To assure that he was accurate Dave arranged for a technician, Clayton, to stop by in person. Clayton arrived within an hour and confirmed Dave's identification. Clayton explained the procedure that the Lawn Doctor would use to eradicate the weed. He was not the least bit pushy but very helpful. I had several companies advise me on what to do with my front lawn which was patchy with tall fescue and bare areas. Some recommended destroying the lawn and starting over. Lawn Doctor's approach of seeding with their power seeding device was a great decision. Our front has never looked better since it was sodded 24 years ago. LD has been great to work with. Had a good experience upon first application. This is my first time using lawn doctor. David is my lawn technician and he is great. Our house was newly sodded, but the weeds started to overtake the yard shortly after we moved in. Lawn Doctor did an incredible job taking care of the problem, and our yard is unrecognizable compared to just a few months ago (we've done fertilization, aeration, and seeding). Lawn Doctor we found through HomeAdvisor a few years ago. Their service is much, much better than TruGreen, who we had used for several years. They also do lawn fertilization. I did not see that service listed on the survey. Our grass is much greener and healthier looking. Also, finally...NO dandelions. Our was lawn was in pretty bad shape when we moved into our new home. Researched around and had a quick response from Dave the owner. This was a nice touch. He came to our house and we discussed our needs. That was 3 years ago and we are still with them.
